Launch Time Craziness

My partner Mike and I somewhat officially launched UNCForum.com yesterday.  By launch I mean creating an invite on Facebook and sending it out to every single one of our Facebook friends (I had 1000+ myself, plus my partners).  So far people are slowly trickling onto the site and we’re seeing some growth, but I think our real advertising campaign begins tomorrow at UNC’s Fall Fest.

Fall Fest is a one-night only event at Carolina where nearly the entire student body pours out onto one street on campus to enjoy music, free food, games and learn about their favorite student organizations.  We have a marketing campaign planned out for tomorrow, which hasn’t been going exactly the way I planned, but hopefully it will work out.

I’ll write all about our experience tomorrow night, how we did and what we could have done better for anyone attempting some crazy guerrilla campaigning.

These kind of campaign we can get more clients and we can promote our products through some 10 days or 1 week exhibition via videos, banners, notice and also some small free services also helpful to get more clients.

Exactly Agriya, especially that point about free services/giveaways. I’ll post on what we gave away with UNCForum and how it worked as far as publicity.
